Meet the Owner

Hi, I'm Dion Hawes, the proud owner and operator of Mean Green Carpet Cleaners. For over 20 years, I've dedicated myself to providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to customers throughout the Turlock/Modesto area.

My company gets its name from our focus on using the safest, most responsible techniques possible while providing undeniably effective results. One of my greatest joys in the job is "before and after” effect of seeing the look on our customer's faces after we've thoroughly cleaned a carpet they'd given up on as a lost cause.

I've worked in the home services since my first two-year stint as a carpet cleaner at age 16. After that company sold its business, I spent 25 years as a pool contractor. At that point, I decided to get back into the carpet cleaning business with the goal of offering something better than homeowners usually get or expect from this service.

Our "service worth paying for" approach to quality and customer satisfaction sets us apart from the rest. My team communicates with customers both before and after the job, educating them on what they need and what to expect. I also insist on using only the finest processes and products to ensure a job well done -- every time.

Turlock has made an ideal home base both for my company and for my family. I love the friendly people and laid-back atmosphere of small-town life (and the local dining experience has been pretty great too).
